Fort Walton Beach Golf Courses

The Fort Walton Beach Golf Course

The Fort Walton Beach Golf Course is a beautiful city-owned facility featuring 36 holes of golf, a restaurant, a pro shop, a lighted driving range, charity golf tournaments, and more. There are two separate courses, the Pines Course and the Oaks Course, both offered at the same location.

Membership, available for a nominal fee, is open to city and county residents. The courses are also open to the public for a small fee. Rates vary depending on whether you play from a cart or walk, the golfer's age, the time of day (morning versus afternoon tee times), the course, and whether you play 9 or 18 holes.

Riders and spectators are also invited to join the fun for only $20. Reservations for tee times can be made online.

The Pines Course

At the time of this publication (September 2025), the Pines Course is under renovation and closed to public play. Members are welcome to play the 16 temporary greens. 

The Oaks Course

The Oaks Course is a beautiful par 72 course with over 6,400 yards of fairways. Players will enjoy narrow, challenging Oak-lined fairways and varied water hazards. Course details are available for players who want to learn more.

The Clubhouse Grill

Located at the golf club, The Clubhouse Grill is open from Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, and Friday & Saturday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. They serve a variety of salads, sandwiches, soups, breakfast items, and drinks. The restaurant also hosts special events and holiday menus.

At Shalimar Pointe Golf Club, located just north of FWB, every golfer is treated like a pro. Eglin Golf Course

The Eglin Golf Course is open to the general public and invites golfers year-round to enjoy championship play on the scenic Eagle Course. Surrounded by rolling greenery and stunning views, the layout strikes a balance between challenge and playability, making it a great choice for both seasoned golfers and beginners. Conveniently located on Highway 85 in Niceville—just four miles from the Eglin AFB East Gate—the course spans 450 acres, including 250 acres dedicated to pristine fairways and smooth greens.

Guests will find everything they need for a complete golfing experience. The facility features a fully stocked Pro Shop, golf carts and push carts, locker rentals (daily or annual), and quality rental clubs suitable for all ages and skill levels. Practice your swing at the lighted driving range or fine-tune your short game at the chipping area.

Gator Lakes Golf Course at Hulburt Field

Gator Lakes Golf Course is an Air Force Services Facility open to Active-Duty Military Personnel and their dependents, Armed Forces Retirees and their families, Department of Defense employees and their family members, and Civilians with passes obtained from the visitor center.

Located at Hurlbert Field, this 18-hole layout blends natural beauty with a rewarding challenge. Designed to be both enjoyable and engaging, the course caters to golfers of every skill level, from weekend players to those seeking a competitive edge.

In addition to the course itself, Gator Lakes offers convenient practice facilities for sharpening your skills, a well-stocked pro shop, and a calendar full of tournaments and special events. Whether you’re looking for a casual round with friends or a chance to test your game in competition, Gator Lakes delivers a golf experience that’s as memorable as it is welcoming.
